In his upper right hand he holds a ball of laddu (sweetmeats) from which his vahana (vehicle) the rat eats. In his lower right hand he holds a manuscript. He wears lavish jewellery and a crown and has a floral garland around his neck. He is shown with only one tusk and a large pot-belly. In front of his are two platters, one piled high with laddu and the other holding fruits. A jug is next to the platters. A thick black border surrounds the painting
