Albarello, slightly waisted; flanged rim; everted bevelled base. Earthenware covered outside with presumed tin glaze; inside with translucent glaze. Painted in blue, purple and orange with a shield of arms, quartered 1 & 4: white, a cross potent dark blue (cross of Calabria?); 2 paly of four orange and purple; 3 purple, two pallets orange. Arms of dukes of Calabria, Aragon quartering Calabria. On reverse Gothic floral and peacock feather eye decoration.
