Plate, reddish-brown earthenware, front and edges of the back are covered with slip. The design is incised through the slip: in the centre an oval shield with a bull blue-black rampant, its body charged with red reserve stars, the arms of Nelli of Florence. Around the sides a wreath and a band of cable pattern. The front and back are covered with a transparent glaze.
