Plate with broad rim and shallow well. Earthenware, covered front and back with a presumed tin-glaze. Painted decoration with golden and red lustre, reclining river god holding a rudder and palm branch. Figure after an engraving by Marcantonio Raimondi after Raphael's Judgement of Paris. Reverse has bands of golden lustre and scrolling decoration in red lustre.
