Broad-rimmed bowl or plate with well. Earthenware covered with a presumed tin-glaze on the front and back. Painted front with golden and red lustre. In the well a winged putto approaching an altar bearing an owners mark incorporating an "S". On the rim trophies of arms. On a book a letter "S", and on a tablet the date "1524". Reverse has bands of golden lustre and scrolls in red lustre.
