Plate with rim, earthenware covered front and back with a presumed tin-glaze. Painted on the front; in the well a winged putto astride a goose, he holds a long stick with spinning wind vanes. The border is painted with trophies, monsters and cornucopias, at the top a mask, at the bottom a female figure (a satyr?), to the left a placard with the letters "Q.V.P.C" and to the right "S.P.Q.R". On the reverse four foliate motifs and a mark.

(You can click on these, but the ones with "_" in them don't work as facets. You'll see a blank page. We'll fix that at some point.)
