Mould-made pottery Firmalampe: a lamp with a circular bowl-shaped body, a rounded shoulder, and a small flat discus with a raised rim. There are two opposed nozzles, each with a channel along the top and a rounded tip; an air-hole is pierced in each channel. There is a central pierced suspension handle. On the shoulder are two lugs. The discus has two concentric grooves and four filling-holes, two on either side of the handle. The lamp stands on a base-ring with an internal moulding; within is the impressed name bASAVGV, below are two impressed ring-and-dot patterns. Covered with a worn finger-marked matt orange slip.
