One of a set of 15 'Hell scrolls'. This one is the first of two scrolls showing scenes from Ming Dynasty novel 'Xiyouji' ('Journey to the West', also known in the west as 'Monkey).This scroll shows the character 'pigsy' caught in a tree before Monkey comes to his rescue.
